Reviewed greetings, p. 13. Did Spanish alphabet (pp 14 - 15), and practiced spelling your name in class.

Homework: be aware of letters in your life, and practice spelling things in your head in Spanish

BEGINNERS-2

Reviewed pp 9-11 — Nosotros (We) form. Introduced p 12, Ellos/Ellas (They). Did top and bottom half. Practiced in class. Checked homework (exercise on p 18) together. Did exercise on p 20, Definite and Indefinite articles.

Homework: catch up on any homework you haven't turned in yet. Also, write a dialog between two people talking about two other people: "Como se llaman tus amigos?" "Se llaman Maria y Pedro." etc...

INTERMEDIATE-1


Practiced present simple with activity on p. 18. Did top half of p 19 - interrogative forms.

Homework: Read bottom half of p 19.


INTERMEDIATE-2/ADVANCED

Did exercise on p 5 in the Advanced book — Preterito Posperfecto. Speaking activities in class to practice preterito posperfecto. Did some error correction at the end of class.

Homework: Write a page about an accomplishment in your life. What had you done prior to that event to help you prepare for it?

AFTER-WORK CLASSES

BEGINNERS-1

Reviewed the alphabet on p 15. Learned and practiced exchanging email addresses. Learned vocabulary for family members, work mates, and friends (pp 17-18). Learned 3rd person singular (El/Ella) — (He/She). Top and bottom half of p 21.

Homework: Write a short dialog between two people talking about a third (similar to dialogs on p 21).

BEGINNERS-2

Reviewed all verb forms (pp 9-12). Did grammar charts on pp 13 - 14 to help "bring it all together". Vocabulary p 21 — Lugares (Places). Introduced conjugation of "ir" (to go). Did all exercises on p 21. Started speaking practice on p 22.

Homework: Study everything we've done so far, especially verb charts and new vocabulary.
