Practiced getting to know each other through extended conversations in Spanish. Pp 4-6 in the book

Homework: Write a short dialog similar to the ones in the book so far. Try to incorporate first, second, and third person forms.

Intermediate - 1

Did more Vocabulary brainstorming exercise on pp 5-7. More vocabulary games with these words.

Homework: Write 20 sentences using the words you've written on pp 5-7 of your book.

Intermediate - 2 / Advanced

Vocabulary brainstorming pp 3-4 in the book.

Homework: Add at least 5 words to each subcategory in the book.

Wednesday

Beginners - 1

Reviewed five sentences for talking about yourself (top half of page 3). Learned questions for asking someone else about themselves (bottom half of p 3).
Learned Free Time vocabulary, p 6.

Homework: Write a 10-line question and answer dialog between two people. (Como te llamas? Me llamo John. De donde eres? Soy de...........)

Thursday

Beginners - 1

No students were present.

Homework. Review everything we've done so far, and do the reading comprehension exercises on pp 35-39.

Beginners - 2

Did pages 33-35 in the book.

Homework: Listen for numbers (especially big numbers) on Spanish TV and radio. Game shows are great for this. Also, say big numbers in your head in Spanish when you come across them at work or anywhere else.

Homework: Write a dialog between you and two people you don't know, asking about them: Como se llaman (Ustedes)? Nos llamamos John y Sue. De donde son? Somos de......)
